IUPI Fest project
IUPI fest is an original festival for kids custom designed for MAR Shopping Matosinhos. Inspired in other international creative festivals such as Womad, Glastonbury and Underbelly, IUPI fest looks to channel it’s own inner voice and adapt to this shorter and smaller context without losing it’s distinctiveness. The festival has had already two consecutive editions in 2018 and 2019.
The set decoration is always very colourful and vibrant as this is a fun environment ready for many activities and workshops! Masks, flags, flower tiaras, facial painting, “...”, kids music jam session and acroyoga were some of the activities we had in precious editions. Every kid that went to the festival has the pleasure of receiving some gifts such as the festival bracelet, balloons and all of the projects done in the workshops. To finish up the festival with a bang there is every year a very special show!
